A Call To Stand Up For The Founders Fathers Intent

I want to accurately represent the citizens of Illinois and it will be your comments that ensure that I follow the will of the people. While there are certain issues which I will not compromise on, (see "About Randy" page), the majority of issues facing state government should be decided by the will of the people. It is my sincere desire to serve Illinois in this fashion.

Why am I running?

In June 2004 I felt my Lord calling me into a different type of ministry.  I continued to preach the gospel and minister to the needs, in my church and any place God placed me.  The whole time praying with Pastors, Elders, my accountability partner, and family, that God would show me very clearly where he wanted me.  During that time of prayer God opened the door for me to work in the political realm, getting Christians elected.  Finally on December 25, 2005 I resigned my church and began working in politics full time.  With no full time pulpit ministry I had time to test the waters to see where God wanted me to be.  It became clear it was politics.  From then to date I have worked sixteen campaigns and several elected offices, letting my Lord train me in the political world.

It became ever increasingly clear, God was calling me to minister in the political field.  I prayed and searched for answers, it became very clear God was telling me to "Go to the Faith Based Community to be elected."  Once again, the whole time praying and seeking Gods guidance.  I have traveled for four and a half years talking pastor to pastor, Christian to Christian and merely say "my Lord called me to this mission field. "And he said "I will stir my people and they will put you in."

A brief statement on my personal Faith and political belief;

I believe that one should treat others as they would have others treat them.
I believe that all people are created equal.

If the statements below offends anyone they truly are not meant to, but if they do then Thank GOD this is still a free country and you have the right to peaceably disagree.

True Christianity is not a religion but a relationship built on Faith in Jesus the Christ.
True Christianity does not force, coerce or require anyone to follow Jesus or to convert.
I believe no other faith or religion should force, coerce or require another to follow or convert.
As a Christian we are required to LOVE and help our neighbors.
I believe the USA is GOD ordained, founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and should stay that way.
NO religion or faith should be controlled by any government.
True Christian Faith grows by lifting up JESUS, not by controlling or discriminating against another faith or religion.
