LEADER OF ILLINOIS, SERVANT OF THE PEOPLE Mark 10:43 (LVB) - but among you it is different. Whoever wants to be great among you must be your servant. |
I am Randy White, candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Illinois
in 2010. My wife Vickie, who is the assistant nurse manager at Keokuk Area
Hospital and I have been happily married for 30 years, have two grown children Lisa and Randy Jr. We live in
Hancock County, rural Hamilton, Illinois. I grew up in Liberty, Illinois
(near Quincy) and have a Bachelor's of Science degree from St. Louis Christian
College. I have dedicated my life to assisting others and have served in
many capacities during my life. I am proud and privileged to serve as a
chaplain for several police agencies, including the Illinois State Police.
I have performed as a Crisis Counselor locally, nationally, and internationally.
I went to assist in New York City after the awful
tragedy of September 11th and in Sri Lanka after
the tsunami. I continue to support our troops and am actively
involved in the National Guard Enduring Families
program in Iowa. I have served on the Hancock County Board and made a late
bid (Late September of 2006) for the Lieutenant Governor position as a write-in
candidate in 2006. I believed as a Christian I had no other choice but to
run. Neither the Democratic nor Republican parties fielded a candidate
which was in alignment with Biblical principles. While unsuccessful in
2006, I believed it was important to offer the citizens of Illinois a choice for
their Lieutenant Governor. To that end, I have decided to run again in
2010. My goals are the following:
